Court Recognized LP Faction Suspends 26 Members in Party Dispute

A faction of the Labour Party led by the Nenadi Usman Caretaker Committee has announced the suspension of 26 members aligned with the Julius Abure led faction.

The Nenadi led group, which is recognized by the Supreme Court, disclosed the development via its X handle, where it published the names of the affected members.

According to the statement, the decision was approved by the faction’s National Executive Council.

It will be recalled that the Supreme Court, on April 4, 2025, removed Julius Abure as the national chairperson of the party.

The suspended members are:
