A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, is currently in a closed door meeting with Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.
The meeting is reportedly taking place at the Bauchi State Government House.
Confirming the development in a phone conversation, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, disclosed that Obi arrived with a delegation that included some Southeast senators.
According to Tanko, “Obi came with his team from the Southeast which included some Southeast senators, We are in Bauchi right now and the pictures and details will soon be out.”
The meeting comes amid speculation that Mohammed is considering a move to another political platform following indications that he may leave the Peoples Democratic Party.
