Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has advised Arsenal to adopt a more attacking approach if they are to win the Premier League and the Champions League.
Neville made the remark on Sky Sports while analysing Arsenal’s narrow 1 0 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday.
The win moved Mikel Arteta’s side three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the league table.
It also comes ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi final first leg clash against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Neville said: “They need to be more free in their attacking play.
“If you think about a glass half full, you can go and be a Champions League winner and a Premier League winner.
“At the moment, I think they’re thinking ‘we’ve got to win a league’.
“I don’t think they’re thinking ‘we’ve got to win a Champions League’.”
