Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has shared his thoughts on two major football debates, choosing not to pick a clear favourite between Lamine Yamal and Michael Olise, as well as between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Both Yamal and Olise have delivered standout performances for their respective clubs this season, drawing comparisons over their style and effectiveness.
Speaking during a quick fire session, Osimhen acknowledged the difficulty in separating the two players.
“That’s a tough one. Permit me to pick both,” Osimhen said of Yamal vs Olise.
“These guys are unique in their own craft. I think they are almost similar because they use the same foot.
“The way they read the game is different, so picking one is doing a huge disservice to the other. I will go for both.”
On the long standing debate between Messi and Ronaldo, Osimhen maintained a similar stance, refusing to single out one over the other.
“It’s the same thing with Messi and Ronaldo. I go for both. I have never chosen any of them individually.
“Those two guys have been up there for almost 20 years.”
His remarks reflect the continued admiration for both generations of football stars, highlighting their consistency and impact on the game.
