The 2026 FIFA World Cup concluded on Sunday with Spain defeating Argentina 1-0 after extra time to claim their second world title.
Spain dominated much of the final before Ferran Torres scored the decisive goal in the second half of extra time, converting a knockdown from Nico Williams to secure victory for the European champions.
The triumph marks Spain’s second FIFA World Cup title, following their first success in South Africa in 2010.
Several Spanish players were also recognised with individual honours at the tournament.
