Ex-Minister Uche Ogah Congratulates Engr. Ikemefula on Fellowship of Disaster Management Institute

Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, CON, FCA, has congratulated Engr. Ezekwesiri Maduabuchi Ikemefula, R.CORN, FNATE, FCILMMD, on his induction and investiture as a Fellow of the Institute of Disaster Management and Safety Science (IDMSS), Nigeria.

In a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday, Dr. Ogah described the honour as a significant milestone and a well-deserved recognition of Engr. Ikemefula’s outstanding contributions to disaster management, safety science, and national development.

According to the former minister, the Fellowship reflects Engr. Ikemefula’s unwavering dedication, professional competence, exemplary leadership, and commitment to advancing safety, risk reduction, and institutional excellence.

“This distinguished Fellowship is a fitting recognition of your unwavering dedication, exceptional professional competence, exemplary leadership, and enduring contributions to the advancement of disaster management, safety science, risk reduction, and sustainable national development,” Dr. Ogah stated.

He noted that the elevation to the rank of Fellow is not only a personal achievement but also an affirmation of the confidence reposed in Engr. Ikemefula’s professional capacity and his commitment to promoting a culture of safety, resilience, and preparedness.

Dr. Ogah further commended the award recipient for his pursuit of excellence and service, expressing confidence that the latest recognition would inspire him to make even greater contributions to his profession, community, and the nation.

He prayed that the Fellowship would open new opportunities for greater impact, leadership, and innovation while wishing Engr. Ikemefula good health, divine wisdom, continued success, and greater accomplishments in his future endeavours.

Engr. Ezekwesiri Maduabuchi Ikemefula was formally inducted and invested as a Fellow of the Institute of Disaster Management and Safety Science (IDMSS), Nigeria, in recognition of his contributions to the disaster management and safety profession.
