The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (OFUJI), has called for greater empowerment, inclusion, and participation of young people in the development of Bende.

In a message commemorating International Youth Day, Dr. Anyaso described the youth as a critical force in shaping the future of Bende, stressing the need to create opportunities for young people to contribute meaningfully to decision-making and community development.

According to him, the future of Bende belongs to a generation that is empowered, included, and given a meaningful seat at the table.

He emphasized the importance of investing in young people through education, skills development, entrepreneurship, leadership opportunities, and other initiatives that can enable them to become active contributors to the growth of their communities.

Dr. Anyaso also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that place young people at the centre of development, noting that a better and more prosperous Bende can be achieved when its youthful population is adequately empowered and given the opportunity to lead.

He urged young people across Bende to remain focused, ambitious, and committed to making positive contributions to society.

While congratulating the youths on International Youth Day, the Labour Party candidate described the occasion as an opportunity to remind young people that their voices matter and that they have a role to play in shaping the future of Bende.

“The future of Bende belongs to a generation that is empowered, included, and given a seat at the table,” he said.
