African Democratic Congress, ADC, governorship candidate in Rivers State, Gabriel Baritulem Pidomson, has vowed to personally confront anyone who allegedly manipulates the outcome of the 2027 governorship election against him.
Pidomson made the declaration in a viral video while warning that he would not challenge alleged electoral fraud through the courts after the election.
The ADC candidate said his team would work to prevent the manipulation of election results in the state.
“We are going to stop them from rigging. For me, I don’t believe that somebody will just go and write and announce results, then think it will end in court. I’m not going to court,” he said.
Pidomson warned that anyone he identifies as being involved in rigging his results would face his personal confrontation after the election.
“If you rig my results and I know you, I will follow you after the election. It will not just end there,” he added.
The candidate’s comments come ahead of the 2027 governorship election, with political parties expected to intensify their campaigns and preparations across Rivers State.
