The Suspended former Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu and 8other members of the house who where also suspended has fled Abia following the failed attempt to Impeach the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji.
It will be recalled that the House had during Plenary held at the Abia State House of Assembly suspended 9 members with imediate effect for one month for bringing the image of the house to public disrepute.
Those suspended were Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu (Ohafia South), Rt Hon Kennedy Njoku (Osisioma North), Rt Hon Chikwendu Kalu (Isiala Ngwa South), Chukwudi Apugo (Umuahia East), Aaron Uzodike (Aba North), Thomas Nkoro (Obingwa West), Okey Igwe (Umunneochi), Obinna Ichita (Aba South), Chijioke Chukwu (Bende North).
