On Friday Super Falcons midfielder, Christy Ucheibe has signed a new contract with the Portuguese side, SL Benfica.
Ucheibe linked up with the Portuguese champions from Swedish club, ASSi FF in February 2020 on a three and a half years deal.
The 22-year-old will now remain with the Eagles for another three years.
The Nigerian expressed her delight after penning the new contract.
“This renewal means a lot to me and my family, I am very happy to renew the contract for another three years,” Ucheibe told Benfica Television (BTV).
“I am grateful for this opportunity, which not everyone has. I will do my best to help the team win more trophies.”
Ucheibe has won three league titles since her arrival at the club.
