Unai Emery, the manager of Aston Villa, has given thought to his tenure as Arsenal’s manager.
Emery replaced Arsene Wenger, the Gunners legendary boss, at the Emirates.
However, he was sacked after 18 months in November 2019 and replaced by Mikel Arteta.
This Saturday at Villa Park in the Premier League, Emery and Arteta will square off.
“I had experience in different clubs and countries, and of course at Arsenal that was very important,” Emery told reporters on Friday.
“I always tried to learn with the players and coaches that I had. The experiences I have had [at Arsenal and other clubs across Europe] are the most important for me now, and in the present and the future.”
