Liverpool have confirmed that 12 players will leave the Premier League club during the summer transfer window.

Among the departing players are Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konaté, all of whom featured prominently for the first team.

Salah had earlier announced his decision to leave the club, while Robertson and Konaté are expected to join Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid respectively as free agents.

Rhys Williams is also set to depart after spending 15 years at Liverpool.

Other players leaving the club include James Balagizi and Oakley Cannonier.

Meanwhile, the club has offered fresh contracts to several young players, including Kyle Kelly, Afolami Onanuga, Oliver O’Connor, Lucas Pitt, Ben Trueman, Matthew Wright, Prince Cisse and Keyrol Figueroa.

Liverpool stated that the changes form part of its routine squad restructuring ahead of the new season as it looks to balance experience with youth development.
