President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the next Chief Justice of Nigeria, or CJN.
Kekere-Ekun was sworn in on Monday at the Council Chambers at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, under Tinubu’s direction.
The Senate ratified Kekere-Ekun as the new Chief Justice last week.
This came after she was screened on the upper house parliamentary chamber floor.
She was appointed as the new acting Chief Justice of Nigeria by Tinubu after Justice Olukoyede Ariwoola retired.
