Omar, the son of Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al Qaeda, has been told to leave France by the authorities.
Bruno Retailleau, France’s new interior minister, claims that the 43-year-old has been instructed to remove past posts from social media.
Omar was raised in Sudan and Afghanistan in addition to his birthplace in Saudi Arabia.
He went to Normandy in northern France in 2016 after leaving his father at the age of 19.
Nonetheless, Omar bin Laden “posted comments on his social networks in 2023 that advocated terrorism,” according to Retailleau, who made this claim on X (the old Twitter) on Tuesday.
