The signing of Nigerian forward Emmanuel Ekong has been revealed by Malmo FF, the Swedish Allsvenskan winners.
Ikpe Ekong, a former Super Eagles player, is the father of the young striker.
The 22-year-old left Serie A team Empoli to join Malmo FF.
With Malmo FF, Ekong signed a five-year contract.
He said he was thrilled to have connected with the Sky Blue.
He said on the club’s official website, “I’ve been waiting for this, and it feels great to finally be there.”
“I feel that this is absolutely the right step for me considering the ambitions of Malmö FF and I want to be part of a journey with a team that always plays to win.”
