The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday held a meeting with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State in Abuja.
The meeting, which took place in the early hours of Thursday, was made public by Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, through a Facebook post.
Olayinka wrote: “Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and his Ebonyi State counterpart, Francis Nwifuru, during their visit to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in Abuja a few minutes ago.”
The engagement comes weeks after Wike hosted factional National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, at his Abuja residence.
Following that earlier meeting, Abure had described his visit as a private one, stressing that he reserves the right to meet with any public office holder.
