President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a private working lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
The development was disclosed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on X.
“President Bola Tinubu, with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron, during a working private lunch at the Elysee Palace, Paris. Wednesday, September 10, 2025,” Onanuga wrote.
Details of the agenda discussed at the meeting have not yet been made public.
Tinubu is currently on his annual working vacation, which began on September 4. The 10-day leave will see him spend time in France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
