Although he was out of the country, the overwhelming love, goodwill and admiration that Chief Frank Iheanyi Chinasa commands across Bende and Abia State found remarkable expression on his birthday as associates, mentees, followers and friends organized a humanitarian celebration in his honour.
Rather than a conventional birthday party, the event was deliberately designed as a day of compassion and service to humanity, reflecting the values and legacy of the celebrant. Held at Dogo’s Ville, Uzuakoli, the residence of Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, the celebration brought together children and staff of the Uzuakoli Motherless Babies Home, staff of the Amaudo Itumbauzo Centre for Destitute, and widows from communities across Uzuakoli.
The gathering featured the ceremonial cutting of the birthday cake, followed by the presentation of relief materials to the Uzuakoli Motherless Babies Home and the Amaudo Itumbauzo Centre for Destitute. Widows were also empowered with cash gifts and other items, in an atmosphere filled with joy, gratitude and hope.
Though physically absent, the overwhelming turnout and the success of the outreach reflected the deep affection Chief Chinasa has earned over the years through his philanthropy, selfless leadership, mentorship and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people. The event served as a testament that true leadership is measured not merely by presence, but by the enduring impact one makes on the lives of others.
Speaking at the event, several attendees described the celebration as a fitting tribute to a man whose life has consistently been dedicated to empowering the vulnerable, supporting community development and inspiring a generation of young people across Bende and beyond.
The event attracted an impressive gathering of dignitaries, including the Member representing Bende South State Constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Ndubuisi; the Senior Special Assistant on State Affairs to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Ikenna Ariwodo; A National Commissioner with the National Population Commission, Rev. Hon. Emma Eke Trump; Chief Daniel Akwari; Bishop Ugoo Nwosu of Unique Grace Ministry; Chief Chukwu Ngozi Chukwu, Former Executive Chairman, Bende Local Government Area, Chief Onyebinanma Sunday, President General of Odilanma Eluoma Uzuakoli, alongside other political leaders, traditional stakeholders, clergy, community leaders, associates and admirers.
Beyond celebrating another year in the life of Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, the occasion reinforced the ideals for which he is widely known—compassion, generosity, service, and an unwavering commitment to humanity. It was a celebration that transformed goodwill into tangible acts of kindness, leaving lasting smiles on the faces of the less privileged and further cementing the enduring bond between Chief Chinasa and the people he has continued to serve.
