Turkish Super Lig club Eyüpspor have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Ahmed Abdullahi on a two year contract.

The former Flying Eagles striker joined the Turkish side from Premier League club Sunderland.

As part of the agreement, the 22 year old signed a two year deal with an option to extend his stay by an additional year.

Abdullahi moved to Sunderland from Belgian club Gent in August 2024 but was unable to make a senior appearance for the Black Cats due to persistent injury setbacks.

Despite his injury struggles, he was included in Sunderland’s matchday squads for their Carabao Cup and FA Cup fixtures against Huddersfield Town and Port Vale last season.

The move to Eyüpspor offers the Nigerian striker a fresh opportunity to revive his career and secure regular playing time in the Turkish Super Lig.
