The Polymarket SuperComputer has retained Arsenal as its projected Premier League champions despite the club’s defeat to Brighton and Manchester City’s perfect start to the season.
Arsenal dropped to second place after suffering a 3 0 defeat away to Brighton on Saturday, ending their winning start to the campaign.
Manchester City moved three points clear at the top of the table after defeating Sunderland 5 3 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
City have now won all five of their league matches this season.
Despite the change in the league standings, the SuperComputer still gives Arsenal a higher probability of winning the Premier League title.
Arsenal are currently assigned a 47 percent chance of finishing as champions, while Manchester City have a 39 percent probability.
Liverpool, who defeated Bournemouth 1 0 on Sunday, have been given a 5 percent chance of winning the title.
Manchester United are fourth in the SuperComputer’s projections with a 1 percent chance of securing the Premier League crown.
The latest projections come ahead of the September international break, with the early season results continuing to shape the title race.
