The Legal Counsel to the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has given reasonshe wants the charges against his client dropped.
Ejiofor told newsmen in Abuja that they approached the ECOWAS court to intervene in the matter, because they believe that Nigerian Courts have been compromised.
He says the charges proffered against Kanu, has nothing to do with Treasonable felony, adding that his client never said he was going to overthrow the government.
Ejiofor added that article one and fifty-five of the United Nations Charter, permits his client, to fight for the right of his people.
