Chievo’s Italian goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino has thanked Juventus’ Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo for his support.
Toward the end of the Italian Serie A new season opener between Chievo and Juve, the 39-year-old netkeeper had collided with Ronaldo, suffered a broken nose, and was hospitalized.
“I received a message of friendship and speedy recovery from Cristiano Ronaldo,” Sorrentino wrote on Twitter. “Thanks, legend!”
In this match, the Portugal football star made his Serie A debut.
Ronaldo, 33, recently signed a four-year deal with Juventus.
