Rivers State Governor Barr Nyesom Wike has failed to call for
a Join Account Allocation Commitee (JAAC)Meeting for the past two
Months(September/October) thereby rending the Local Governments Civil Servants
hungry,frustrated and Poor.

The Governor had dissolved the 22 Local Government Caretaker
Commitee Chairmen he appointed on June  2015 after taken oath of office as the
Governor of Rivers State, ever since he dissolved the Local Government
Caretaker Commitees,no memo has been passed across to the Head of Personnel
Management of the Local Government.
Some of the Local Government civil servants who spoke to our
correspondent in Porharcourt said this kind of experience is alien to
them, maintaining that the immediate past administration of Chibuike
Rotimi Amaechi did not withold Local Government Allocation.

Out of the 23 Local Government Areas in Rivers State, that of
Ogba-Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area belongs to the APC and the Chairmen
Hon.Austin Ahiamazu was not appointed, but duely elected, and his council is yet
to also receive their own allocation.
