On Tuesday ESPN report that Manchester United remain keen on Borussia Dortmund winger, Jadon Sancho, but have identified Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele as a possible alternative.
However, United has not admitted defeat, especially as Zorc made a similar public statement about Dembele when he was a Dortmund player in June 2017, only for the winger to join Barca two months later.
Sancho is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s No. 1 choice, but other options have been discussed, including Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman and Juventus’ Douglas Costa.
United have also held informal talks over a move for Dembele, who has two years left on his contract.
The 23-year-old has not played a competitive match since November and underwent surgery on his hamstring in February.
