Embattled Chairman of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Bayelsa State Mr.Timipa Tiwei Orunimighe sunday dared the National Leadership of the Party over the butched Tuesday Primaries of the Party in Bayelsa State which was cancelled after cultist took over the Samson Siasia Stadium during the Excercise.
In a press briefing held by Mr.Tiwie Orunighe on Sunday 27th, about at the state party secretariat in Bayelsa, Tiwie maintained that Chief Timipre Sylva has emerged as the parties flag bearer.

The embattled Bayelsa APC Chairman denied being aware of any rescheduled primary, he said the National Leadership of the party has not informed him of such for he only knows that primaries have been conducted and a winner has emerged, he told pressmen not to believe what they hear on media, he also said that Adams Oshiomole never complained about the process but was only laying accusing fingers on an aspirant, he assured pressmen that he has gotten in touch with all aspirants and they are currently harmonizing their differences.
When asked what next, he said t the party is currently getting ready for December 5th polls with the party’s flag bearer and all arrangements are currently being put in place to clinch victory.
He then went further to assure all Apc supporters within the state to remain calm as there is no need for alarm, he said the returning certificate will be given to the winner as there is no argument about that.
Mr. Timipa Tiwie Orunimighe is well known for taken sides on any issues relating to Chief Timipre Sylva,who installed him as the Bayelsa State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress(APC),During the butched Primaries of the party on tuesday,Mr.Tiwei imported thugs and accredited them as Delegates in his bid to ensure Sylva won the Primary election of the party.
