The tension and pressure in the tribunal today was physically visible on Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha as the tribunal judges forcefully closed her defence case presentation against the petition of Dr. Ejike Oji of APGA.

Dr. Ejike Oji was the APGA House of Representative candidate for Isuikwuato and Umunneochi Federal constituency who petitioned the tribunal against the declaration of Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha as winner.
The tribunal judges today physically displayed their frustration towards the attitude and manner of the Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha ‘s lawyer, Fagbemi (SAN), who the tribunal judges claimed have being trying to make the case status bar.
The judges refused to yield to the Fagbemi’ s request for adjournment and decided to close the case even though Fagbemi still has 2 witnesses to present.

The other respondents aligned with Fagbemi for an adjournment, but the tribunal judges refused and immediately closed their case because the respondents have being raising needless objections, meanwhile the time appointment for the case is fast running out.
Immediately that was done, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha who was present in the court expressed great shock and was depressed.
