Outgoing governor of Rivers state Rt.Hon Rotimi Amaechi has concluded plans to handover powers to the state Head of Service Barr.Samuel Long-John,Promise Uzoma Okoro Learnt.The move ,PUO gathered,may not be unconnected of the absence of a state Chief Judge or a President of customary court of Appeal in the state,A source from the the Rivers state government House,who pleaded anonymity told PUO that Amaechi has concluded arrangements to hand over the funtions of the state to the Head Of Service since the constitution does not allow a lacuna/vacuum.
According to the Source,Buhari will appoint an administrator who will take over the reigns of the brick house immediately after his inauguration on May 29th 2015,this will enable the Rivers state tribunal sitting in Abuja to deliver its judgement which is to nullify Wike’s Victory of the April 11th Governorship Election in that state,which clearly dos not represent the wishes of the Rivers People,but that of Dame Gesilah Khan who is the Residential electoral Commissioner in the state. The source stated.
The source went further,to state in clear terms that Amaechi will not handover to Wike,and heaven will not fall,instead of him(Wike) to occupy the exalted seat ,he should be in prison answering for all the killings he politically initiate/masterminded in Rivers state,he continued,Saying that Nyesom Wike is the present day Moses who saw the Promised Land without entering it
