President Goodlcuk Jonathan today assured the people of Rivers state that his administration will site tangible projects in the state if Voted into Power. The president stated this during thePDP campaign rally which held at the Adokiye Amesiamaka Stadium in Portharcourt Rivers state.
Promise Uzoma Okoro has last week reported that the very stadium may turn to be a show of who controls River state,this came as a result of the refulsal by the river state Government to grant the PDP access to the stadium citing the fact that the stadium is still under contruction.
But speaking at the rally,the governorship candidate of the PDP in the state Barr.Wike told the president that he vowed that if PDP couldnt not use the stadium,then there will be no PDP rally in River state.According to Wike Governor Ameachi challenged him when they held their parties rally at Liberation stadium which has a capacity of 16,000 ,Mr; Wike said that Amaechi cannot tell the president where and where to use because he is the number one citizen in Nigeria.
On his part the president said that the state Governor Mr. Amechi said he hasnt done anything in River state and Bayelsa state,an allegation which the president said was not true.He went further to tell the people that if voted into power,he will do something tangible in the state.
