A Shameful Situation played out today at the Rivers State National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja following the inability of the Counsel to the Senator Representing Rivers South East Senatorail District Sen.Olaka Nworgu to provide the 12 documents which the petitioner Sen.Magnus Abe requetsed from INEC through a subpoena issued by the Tribunal.

At Todays Sitting of the Tribunal,INEC only presented four documents out of the twelve that were requested by Magnus Abe relating to the conduct of the Senatorial Election in the Rivers South East Senatorial District on the march 28th National Assembly Election.

Inec flimsy excuse for not coming with other documents was that the materials and documents has been snatched by robbers, voter Register, ballot papers,2/3rd of materials which were used during the election could not be brought by INEC.

PUO REPORTS Learnt however, that on cross examination of the four documents brought by INEC,it was discovered that contrary to INEC’s claims of coming to court with four documents,INEC came with two incomplete documents, the discovery angered the Tribunal which led the INEC Counsel to plead for mercy saying his action was not a  deliberate act.

However Senator Magnus Abe has closed his case at the Tribunal following the conclusion of his witnesses testimony over the election which took place in Rivers South East Senatorial District, the Tribunal however adjusted it previous, limiting the time frame to only 4days for both PDP and INEC to defend their case against Magnus Abe
