The Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja to told the sacked Governor of Rivers State Barr.Nyesom Wike that a cult group known as Icelanders were instrumental to the shameful electoral process that brought him to power.
Chairman of the Three Man Tribunal Panel Justice Sulieman Mohammed Ambrosa today nullified the April 11th Governorship election which took place in Rivers State.
Justice Ambosa who began his rulling by striking out the Inec Documents tendered by the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) as one of their exbit to prove that election actually took place in Rivers State stated that the petitioner Dr.Dakuku Adol Peterside truely proved his case beyond every reasonable doubt.
The Tribunal ruled that Card Readers which were instructed by INEC for use during the conduct of the polls remains and valid documents because the arguement of the Respondents that Card Readers are not legal is laughable,saying that the money spent on procuring the Card reader cannot go in Vain.
The Tribunal rule that they were in total agreement with the petitioners,that the April 11th Governorship Election that took place in Rivers State was a mockery of democary.
The Tribunal gave INEC 90days to conduct Fresh election in Rivers State
