The last may not have been heard about the protest done by market women yesterday in Portharcourt,the Rivers state capital over the nullification of the Rivers State governorship election last saturdayby Justice Suleiman Ambrosa led three member panel
The photos of the protest which were released by agents of the Rivers State government yesterday was said to have been that of market women and men in Rivers State who were protesting the decision of the Rivers State election petition Tribunal which asked INEC to conduct fresh poll in Rivers State within 90days.
Investigation carried out by PUO REPORTS shows that the women were protesting without even knowing why the were protesting,we gathered from inside sources that the women were invited to come and take agric loan of N200,000each,but seeing the large number of the women that came,agents of governor Wike brought banners and asked them to start protesting.
Some of the banners which were already designed due to the hatched work by loyalist of the sacked Rivers State governor,were boldy written with inscription which included that Nyesom Wike was Rivers Choice and no harm should befall him.
At the end of the protest by the women,those who came from nearby city in Portharcourt were given N400each,while people who came from far distance like Omoku and Ahoada were given N2000 each,instead of the supposed N200,000for agric loan..
