Signs that supporters of the Minister of Transport and former Rivers State Governor are not comfortable with his choice as a Transportation Minister under President Mohammadu Buhari, has started emerging barely 24hours he was sworn in as a minister Of of the Federal republic of Nigeria.

Chibuike Amaechi was unveiled as a minister of Transportation,as against public opinions that the former Rivers State governor fits into heading the Ministry of Niger Delta, which would have offered him the chance to empower most of his supporters with appointment into the board of the Niger Delta Developement Commision(NDDC) or given them contract for standing by with him.

Although President Mohammadu Buhari has merged the Ministry of Aviation into the Ministry of Land and Transport, analyst say the choice of Amaechi as the Head of the Ministry negect the principle of equity and fairness considering the sacrifices and risk he took to ensure President Mohammadu emerged as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress(APC) and subsequently as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

PUO REPORTS Checks revealed that most Ministers from the oil producing Niger Delta region were allocated Ministries that has little resource production, while those from the Northern part of the Country were given huge Ministries to head.

One good example is the choice of a Former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from Bayelsa State Sen.Heineken Lopkobiri  who was given the Ministry of State for Agriculture to head, and a former governor of Abia State Chief Ogbonnaya Onu who was announced as the Minister of Science and Technology.
With the potfolios,it will be right to conclude that President Mohammadu Buhari gave little attention to those who suffered for his emergence as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, while those who were not at the forefront of his ambition to rule Nigeria were given Juicy Ministrie
