Rivers State governor Barr Nyesom Wike has banned Amy form of protest,either from the Indigenous People of Biafra or any group from protesting in Rivers State.
Governor Nyesom Wike in a broadcast yesterday in government house Portharcourt stated that his administration which sworn to protect the Sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal republic of Nigeria,will not fold it hands and watch any group carry out secession protest in Rivers State.
Wike stated that any group of person who disobeys the order from his administration will be arrested and prosecuted.
It will be recalled that the Ipob members had arrived Rivers state yesterday from Ana to stage a protest in their continue call for secession and the release of Radio Biafra Boss,who has been on detention since October 14 2015
