Recalled that his election was nullified by the appeal court sitting in Owerri last two weeks, when his opponent Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, of Progressive People Alliance (PPA), former Abia governor, approaches appeal court to rule over the case and after court judgement, Ohuabunwa’s election was nullified and declared rerun.
Amid the fresh election rerun ordered by the appeal court, Ohuabunwa, says he does not fear his opponent even if he (Orji Uzor Kalu) is among the list of top 10 African richest man.
When asked, How do you feel when you remember that your opponent is wealthy and top 10 richest man in Africa.
He said:
This is election, its not all about how rich you are, this is my mandate and I must reclaim it.
I do not envy if he is rich or not, even if he is rich, why don’t he go out there and help people, there are people in the street looking for help.

Why dragging election with us, this election is not all about buying and selling, it is not trade center where someone will come and buy because he is rich.
I won the senatorial seat because people loves me, they want me to represent them…..everyone of them knows me, that’s why they call me follow better…. Lolz
When asked about his achievement by the time he was at the house of representatives for the past 8 yrs administration of Chief T. A Orji…
He said,
Yes, my 8yrs at house rep was a regret because I did not do the necessary things which I supposed to do and I know that’s why God send me back to Senatorial house to do things right.

When asked about, what he has done for the past six months he was a senator, he said;
Though I wasn’t aware that my election is going to be nullified but I did all the necessary things which I wish for Abia South People.
1. When I was elected into the senate, I moved motion about the gully roads and erosion threatening Arochukwu and Ohafia.
2. I moved the motion when no body has ever did it, the motion was put to the Highest place, it was signed by the senate committee and they agreed to start work there by 2016, FERMA agreed to start work on the roads.
3. When I went to Umuneochi during my campaign period, I was shocked when I see that the whole Umunneochi don’t have light, I promise them the light and I also works towards it.
4. I also moved motion to build cancer research facility in Abia state, which nobody has ever raised such issue in Abia.
I raised lot of motions in accord to help Abia people improve and limit unemployment for the youths.
Senator Moa said, he is hoping to win the rerun election because he has been a politician all his life and he knows nothing more than politics, he does not have any shop or office.
He said he is ready for Orji Kalu because he know that he will defeat Orji Uzor.

Talks about Burdex, he said he does not fear him because the election is his mandate and no one can take it from him.
