A group known as Forum of Rivers West Elites (FRWE) has assured Senator Osinakachukwu Thankgod Ideozu of the reaffirmation of the mandate freely given to him during thge March 28 National Assembly election in Rivers West Senatorial District,as INEC prepares to conduct the rerun election come February 6th 2016.
In a statement made available to PUO REPORTS by the Spokesman of the group Mr.Ebeku Messiah,the group said the plot by some anti-democratic elements to get Ideozu out of the Senate has met a brick wall as the people of the District are dusting their permanent Voters card to repeat the love shown to Ideozu during the March 28th National Assembly election.
According to the group,Ideozu has been a grassroot politician whose track records were verifiable,and as such,he is needed back to the Senate to speak on behalf of the people of the Rivers West Senatorial District.
The group assured Senator Ideozu that come this Saturday,the people of Rivers West Senatorial District will send him back to the SENATE.
It will be recalled that Senator Osinakachukwu Ideozu of the Peoples Democratic Party had defeated the candidate of the APC Rt Hon.Otelemaba Dan Amachree in the March 28th Senatorial election for Rivers West Senatorial District,but the Court of Appeal ordered for a Rerun last December in the District
