Federal High Court annex in Port Harcourt will be completed in August — Wike

Rivers  State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared  that  the  Federal  High Court annex being constructed  by the State Government in Port  Harcourt will be  delivered  in August  dispensation  of justice.

The governor  said  that with the rerun  legislative elections  behind, the entire focus of his administration  is to deliver  on campaign  pledges.

He  commended the  contractor  handling  the  Federal High Court annex for the quality of  the job, saying he is impressed by the  output.

In an interview  after inspecting  ongoing  work  at the Federal High Court annex in Port Harcourt  on Friday,  Governor Wike urged the  contractor to maintain  the  tempo to ensure  the  work is delivered  on schedule.

The governor  also visited the  ongoing  construction  of  the  Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Ultra Modern Law Centre,  where he also  expressed  satisfaction  with  the  level of work  done so far by the contractor.

He noted that the  new law centre when completed in August will enhance  law practice  in the state.

Governor  Wike also inspected ongoing  construction  of Ozuoba-Rumuosi road, Ozuoba-Rumuokparali-Choba roadand Igbogo-Choba road.

The roads were flagged off recently  by the governor.

He said: “We are finally  done with politics.  Our complete focus is to deliver the dividends  of democracy  to our people as we have always done.

“All efforts and resources are targeted at the development  of  the  state.  I will personally  lead the supervision  of  projects to ensure quality  projects delivery  within approved timelines “.

The governor  inspected ongoing construction   work at the new Chapel of Christian Worship in the  Government House premises.

He was accompanied  on the  inspection  visit by the Deputy National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, the Rivers State PDP Chairman,  Bro Felix Obuah and a Member-elect of the Rivers State House of Assembly,
