Ekpeye Solidarity Forum,an ethnic group with Headquarters in Ahoada has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to as a matter of urgent Public Importance declare the Rivers West Senatorial Rerun results.

The Group while speaking to Journalists after its Emergency meeting in Omoku Road Ahoada on Friday blamed INEC over what it describe as having no body to bring before the National Assembly the arson that took place in Edeoha and Ula-Upata Communities last Sunday.

Comrade Ogbobula Nweye who read a Communique adopted by the group stated that the group will consider Legal action against the Independent National Electoral Commission if the electoral body fails to announce the Rivers West Senatorial Results before the 15th of May 2016.

The group also frowned at what it said was an attempt by some forces to deny the Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality a voice in the SENATE which the Rivers West Senatorial District electorate rejected during the March 19th Rerun in the Area.

The group said the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Senator Osinakachukwu Ideozu clearly won the Rerun and ought to have declared winner just as the two Lawmakers from the Ahoada East Constituency 1 and 2 had already been bringing the state closer to the people of Ekpeye Kingdom
