A new State Chairman of the PDP has emerged in Abia State, he is Chief Johnson Onuigbo.
Speaking after voting at the State PDP congress, the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu charged those who won to carry everyone along, including those who did not support their candidature. He said he inherited a peaceful party from his predecessor, Chief T.A Orji and prayed that all the newly elected excecutive, from Ward to State level would serve as their predecessors did, saying that Abia is a reference point for peace as all the processes of the congress have been rancour-free.
The Governor, who saluted the Senator Emma Nwaka led tenure also challenged the faithful to pull-in in one direction and join in the new paradigm of PDP, saying that this is the time to strengthen PDP.
