BREAKING: Court Disqualifies Okezie Ikpeazu as Abia Governor Over Tax Forgery

There is serious Tension in Umuahia the Abia State capital following the ruling of the Federal High Court which ordered the Abia State Governor to vacate Office for the Governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in the December 8th Governorship primaries of the PDP in Abia State Dr Uche Ogah

Uche Ogah had gone to court challenging the eligibility of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to contest the December 8th Governorship Primaries of the PDP in Abia State on grounds that he presented a Forged Tax receipt which dated Saturday ,a non working Day,to contest the Election

The Court ruled few minutes ago that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu was not qualified to contest the Elelection.

Uche Ogah had prayed  the court to disqualify Ikpeazu over allegation of forging his Tax clearance receipts, the Tax Clearance Certificate in Form IT 70, reference No. SPA/HQ/2437 with serial number 095827 and dated 04/07/2014, which was submitted by Ikpeazu to both INEC and the PDP, showing payment of his Income Tax for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013, that it were forged.
