Student Who Cooks And Sell For A Living Gives Over 200 Primary School Pupil Free Meal

Photos of the student who cooks and sell food to her fellow students in order to survive giving free meal to Primary school children has surfaced the internet.

Miss Abel Edna, a student of Niger Delta University in the Department of Animal Science broke the internet last week when stories of how she combines her studies with entrepreneurship so as to be financial free surfaced. Since then, Edna has been an internet sensation.
Speaking to Rhythm 94.7 Yenagoa, on the 13 day of January 2016, Edna said she decided to be financially independent when one of her Uncles who she met for assistance made sexual advancements towards her.
In a program which she dubbed “Feed The Children Program”, Edna gave away over 200 plates of food to primary school pupil at Toru-Ebeni in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa state.
“Feed The Children Program Was A Blast” she said via her Facebook post. The Rivers state born entrepreneur thanked a host of volunteers who ensured the success of the program especially Engr. Michael Tarerefa, a Philanthropist, who first shared her story online via Facebook. Michael and his family as it was learnt also provided logistics for the program.
Speaking to journalist after the exercise, Edna said she feels fulfilled. “I feel very happy, I feel fulfilled, I feel so complete right now”.
When asked what is expected of her next, “this is just the beginning” she added.
This is not the first time Edna have given children free meal to pupils. It could be recalled that sometime in 2016, Edna and her team embarked on the same mission on “WORLD FOOD DAY”.
