Governor of Abia State Dr.Okezie Ikpeazu said that his administration set it as a goal that Abia State will be one of the States that will conceptualize whatever collaboration that will benefit the teeming youths.
The Governor said this at the Women Development Centre,when he presented a #100 million cheque to graduates of South East Entrepreneurship Development Centre.
According to Dr.Ikpeazu, Abia has seen beyond tomorrow. He tasked beneficiaries to make good use of the fund to improve the State, employ Abians and make the State proud.
The project director Dr Osita Aniemeka in his emotion filled remark, thanked the Governor for aligning with the programme of the CBN even while other States could not take up the challenge. He thanked Abia Youths for identifying with the scheme which has benefited them immensely.
Recall that Governor Ikpeazu promised to emphasize on Skills training and empowerment of youths in Abia State.

Through the efforts of the Governor, Abia State hosted the SEEDC and will go ahead to develop strategy that will help achieve the purpose for 3 years.
To maintain the programme, Abia State provided the counterpart fund. The State has also set up a team that will monitor the progress of the scheme in the area of disbursement and usage.
The fund will be disbursed to graduates of the SEEDC who qualified last year from the centre.
With the progress so far made, Abia has taken up development, capacity building and employment to a greater height.
