The Rivers State National and State House of Assembly election Petition Tribunal Sitting in Apo the Federal Capital Territory Yesterday upheld the Election of Chikere Azubuike Wanjoku of the All Progressive Congress as Lawmaker Representing Ikwerre State Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
The Tribunal Chairman ruled that Hon Anslem Oguguo of the Peoples Democratic Party Party (PDP) was unable to prove allegation of rigging Compromised leveled against the Independent National Electoral Commission and the All Progressive Congress in his Petition.
It will be recalled that Oguguo had petitioned the Tribunal praying the nullification of the December 10 National and State Assembly Rerun for Ikwerre State Constituency on grounds of Rigging
