People’s Redemption Party Endorse Uche Ogah

The State and the National leadership of the People’s Redemption Party, today endorsed Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah and the All Progressives Congress in Abia State as their sole candidate and party for the up coming election in March, 2019. The parties agreed to work together and to bring other political parties under the All Progressives Congress, to dislodge the PDP in the state.

Speaking at the meeting, the leader of PRP delegation, Mr. Godwin Onyekachi, said that his party was motivated by the good qualities of Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, his vision for Abia State and his antecedents. According to him, “Uche Ogah wants the good of Abia and we are ready to work with him. We are bringing the structure of our party across the 17 local government areas of Abia State to deliver APC at the polls. Our party is populated by a team of people you can trust, we can only work with a candidate like Ogah”

Responding to PRP’s proposal for collaboration, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah said that his party and campaign team is ready to work with every good political party in Abia State to bring the needed change.

According to him, “we will work together and govern Abia together. What is happening in this state makes me weep. We need to defeat this empire. What I am asking Abia people who have integrity, sincerity, and the courage for change to do, is to come forward. We don’t have time to waste. In 40 years from now, most of us will not be here. We need to move fast to liberate our state and build a great future for our children”

“The wind of change is blowing across Abia State, we are ready to work with as many political parties under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress to send the PDP out of government”

Modalities for their partnership was to be handled by the Director of Pro-groups, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah Campaign Council and representatives of PRP.

Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah also played host to a body of civil servants led by Benjamin Kalu. They were in his office to pledge their support for the APC candidate and his running mate, Rt Hon Martins Azubuike. Benjamin who spoke on behalf of the delegation said their “focus is to mobilize civil servants in Abia State to support the candidature of Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah and his running mate”

Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah assured them that his government will make the welfare of civil servants in the state a priority.
