LOCK DOWN: 8 Loaded Buses from Cross River Stopped from Entering Abia

About 8 buses from Ukwa  in Cross River that tried to pass through Abia in Ohafia Local Government Area were sighted and turned back by the local vigilantees who alerted the TC Chairman Hon Fred Idika, who swiftly alerted the Area commander and the vigilante group for action with Abia youths group.

In Ohafia, Men of Ohafia Vigilante Services are guarding  borders with Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers and Ebonyi states Respectively .


The are keeping in checks with the Biakpan, Erei and the Usukpan boundary exits to Cross River State.


Also Ukwa Nkporo and Elugu Nkporo exits to Ebonyi state.

 

This is inline with  the instructions of the Governor of Abia state Dr Okezie Ikpeazu that all LGA Chairmen should mobilize Vigilante men on all the entry points into Abia state.

Transition Committee Chairman of Ohafia LGA Hon Fred Idika is working closely with all the security agencies in Ohafia to see to the compliance of the stay at home order.
