On Tuesday Arsenal began their preparations for the new season, with a 4-1 win against MK Dons.

Manager Mikel Arteta named a strong side for the friendly game

Mohammed Elneny, who spent the last season out on loan, gave the Gunners the lead, capitalizing on a goalkeeper error to slot into an empty net.

Eddie Nketiah make it 2-0, sweeping home Bukayo Saka’s cross. However, Rob Holding scored at the wrong end of the pitch before the break.

Arsenal made it 3-1 in the second half, with Mark McGuiness rising high to score in his first appearance with the senior team.

Reiss Nelson rounded off scoring from the penalty spot, after he was fouled in the area.
