The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, or APC, has expressed concern over a purported scheme by Governor Siminalayi Fubara to obtain temporary injunctions from certain courts declaring the State House of Assembly, led by Martins Amaewhule, to be illegal.
The APC’s chairman in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, withheld the names of the alleged judges on Fubara’s list during a press conference on Thursday in Port Harcourt. However, he did promise to include their names in his petition to the Nigeria Judicial Council, or NJC.
