Media entrepreneur Dele Momodu has endorsed a possible presidential ticket pairing Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi under the African Democratic Congress, describing it as a strong and strategic option ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Momodu noted that both politicians had previously worked together during the 2019 presidential race and share a similar political outlook, which could make their partnership effective.
He added that Obi’s strong performance in the last election positions him as a candidate capable of attracting a large support base without significant additional effort.
Momodu also claimed that the All Progressives Congress is already showing signs of unease due to the growing alliance of prominent opposition figures within the ADC.
According to him, the presence of several influential political leaders in one opposition platform has created tension within the ruling party.
He argued that despite efforts by Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC to consolidate support across governors, ministers, and lawmakers, there are visible indications of concern within the party over the evolving political landscape.
