Former Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 elections.

He expressed optimism that the continuation of Tinubu’s leadership would consolidate national development and economic progress, noting that ongoing policies are expected to deliver long term benefits.
The former governor urged members of the APC in Lagos State to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of the elections and work collectively to secure victory for the party.
