Former Thierry Henry has acknowledged that Arsenal are currently not at the same level as Paris Saint Germain ahead of the UEFA Champions League final later this month.
Henry made the remarks while speaking on CBS Sports after PSG secured qualification for the final following a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, sealing a 6-5 aggregate victory.
PSG, managed by Luis Enrique, are now set to face Arsenal in the final scheduled for May 30 in Budapest.
Despite admitting that PSG currently appear stronger, Henry expressed hope that his former club can still rise to the occasion and claim the title.
“We’re not at the level of those guys yet so you have to be humble with it.
“I’m so happy we’re in the final, let’s see what we can do against this team because that’s an outstanding team.
“Let’s just hope we can beat PSG, but it’s going to be very difficult.”
