The Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has assured parents that the Federal Government will secure the safe return of school children abducted in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

On Friday, armed attackers invaded the Ogbomoso area and kidnapped pupils and teachers from LA School and Community Grammar School, Ahoro Esinele.

Following the incident, President Bola Tinubu dispatched a high level delegation to the community, including Gbajabiamila and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.

Speaking in Ogbomoso during a visit to the community, Gbajabiamila said the President is deeply troubled by the incident and has directed full security intervention.

According to Gbajabiamila: “Mr President is deeply troubled by this incident. Whatever it takes, our children and teachers will be brought back home safely.

“He has issued all necessary directives and is providing every support required by our security agencies to achieve that objective.

“Your pain and anxiety are understood. By the grace of God, your children will return safely to your arms.“
